5-day Art Course, Monday - Friday
10.00-12.00 Art History Class
13.00-15.00 Art Class
The course ends on Friday with an Art Tour through the Kunsthaus in Zurich
Are you interested in creating art and learning more about art and its history at the same time? Then this course is for you! Together we dive into the world of art and make a trip through the centuries from the Middle Ages via the Renaissance and Modern times until today. A few weeks before the course starts, we kick off with a workgroup meeting where each student explains why and in which art topic he or she is interested. During the morning art history class, the by me developed personalized program, based on the subject of your choice, will be discussed and examined. In the afternoon at art class you create an artwork inspired by what is learned at art history class. The goal here is not to make the perfect painting or drawing but try to come close to the emotions, style and techniques of the great artists of yesteryear!
Information:
- Please registrate by sending an email to info@vforart with your name, email and which week you want to attend the course, 14-18 June or 21-25 June
- The course is given at the parish hall, Kirchstrasse 2 in Küsnacht, (3 min. walk from the train and bus station Küsnacht)
- You can get your lunch at the nearby COOP or Migros. But you also have the possibility to visit the local restaurants for fresh made sushi or pizza
- Maximum 6 students, minimal 3 students
- Fee CHF 350,- (materials, ticket Kunsthaus included) (you can pay by Twint)
